Southern Virginia University’s Office of Admissions is seeking a motivated Admissions Counselor to help recruit new students and guide them through the admissions process. Primary duties for this position include building and managing relationships with prospective students and parents while utilizing effective sales techniques and customer relationship management software.
Employment Status: Full-time
Entry Salary Range: $40,000–50,000 (based on experience)
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree is a plus
Experience: 2-3 years of work experience in college admissions, sales, or related field
