Move-In & Orientation Schedule
January 13: Move-in Day
- 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Housing Check-in (by appointment)
- 6:30–8:30 p.m. Pancake Bar & Games (at the YSA Building)
January 14: Orientation Day
- 9–10 a.m. Breakfast with Peer Mentors: Breakfast will be paid for new students (at the Dining Hall)
- 10 a.m.–12 p.m. University Check-in: Pick up your welcome packet, Student ID, and iPad bundle (in the Main Hall Lobby)
- 1–2 p.m. Official Welcome to SVU: Featuring President Cordon; students and their families are highly encouraged to attend (in the Main Hall Ballroom)
- 2–3 p.m. Peer Mentor Introduction: Gather with your peer mentor group in preparation for Knight 101 (your peer mentor will contact you with location details)
- 7–8:30 p.m. Reception with President Cordon (at the President’s House)
- 9–10:30 p.m. Movie Night: All new and returning students are invited to attend (at the Stoddard Center)
January 15: First Day of Classes!

To access the Knight App, log in with your new University email and password
