Brand Standards & Logo Downloads

The Southern Virginia University Brand Standards contain important information about official University colors, logos, and approved brand practices. Please familiarize yourself with the Brand Standards prior to using official university logos.

To view and download the logos, please read and agree to the Logo Guidelines.


The language used to represent the University’s status with SACSCOC and other accrediting and state agencies must follow the guidelines of those agencies.


Logo Guidelines

These logos are property of Southern Virginia University. In order to maintain brand consistency and integrity, University logos should be treated with utmost care and respect while adhering to University brand standards. The Office of Marketing must approve all logoed marketing materials, printed or digital.

By using University logos, you consent to the following logo guidelines:

  • Use only approved University logos.
  • Use approved University logos only for internal (on-campus) purposes or approved University social media accounts.
  • Do not alter the orientation, proportions, or color of the logo; do not enhance, embellish, add text to, or otherwise change University logos.
  • These logos are trademarked by the United States Patent & Trademark Office. Any unauthorized alteration is considered a trademark violation.
  • Do not share, disseminate, or copy any logo, electronically or physically, without express written consent from the Office of Marketing.
  • Do not print or embroider the logos on any apparel, document, gear, product, or presentation without express written consent from the Office of Marketing.

The Office of Marketing reserves the right to remove any document, social media post, presentation, gear or apparel that is in violation of this agreement and the logos contained herein.
