Instructional Services Librarian
Full-time
Starting date: Fall 2024
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an ALA-accredited program
- Creativity, initiative and interest in innovative approaches to library instruction, reference, and research assistance
- Strong understanding of pedagogy and best practices in information literacy
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Effective time and organizational skills, with the desire and ability to work both independently and as a member of a collaborative team
- Desire to mentor and foster skills in undergraduates
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering research instruction in an academic setting
- Knowledge of instructional and multimedia technologies
- Experience establishing and assessing instruction program learning outcomes
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of the ACRL Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education
- Knowledge of the Library of Congress Classification system
