Director of Information Technology

Responsibilities
- Lead and implement IT strategies aligned with university initiatives
- Manage a team of IT and AV professionals and student employees
- Coordinate and execute IT and AV projects with university stakeholders
- Oversee IT operations, ensuring efficient and reliable services
- Manage IT infrastructure, ensuring security and scalability
- Assist in developing IT policies and compliance standards
- Provide leadership for IT support services and training
- Collaborate with academic and administrative departments on IT needs
- Represent the University with external vendors and distributors
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- 3-5 years of management experience in IT or related field
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, security, and best practices
- Excellent organization, leadership, and management skills
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in higher education
- Strong understanding of AV infrastructure
- Project management certifications, such as Agile, Scrum, etc.
- Experience in solutions architecture, database management, and systems design
- Ability to work with different platforms and systems, including Apple, Google, and Microsoft
- Proficiency in AWS, Google Workspace for Education, and Microsoft 365 for Education
- Familiarity with Jenzabar, Salesforce, and Instructure
- Experience in customer service or user experience
