Lecture/Recital by Dr. Hyrum Arnesen

The SVU Honors and Music Programs invite all to attend a lecture/recital by Dr. Hyrum Arnesen in Kimball 200. His address, “The Search for a National Voice: The Fusion of Folk and European in Argentine Piano Repertoire,” will discuss the influence that music and politics have on each other in the creation of a national consciousness and will showcase some great music from our South American friends.
