Scott Dransfield
Professor of English; Liberal Arts Program Coordinator
“I love teaching at Southern Virginia University and have been doing so for over 20 years. My main objective is genuine learning, and I look for new ways to learn that are fun and engaging. I, myself love learning and am always in the middle of some book or research project. My hope is that my students will be lifelong learners and readers. When not in the classroom, I enjoy playing jazz guitar, birding, and simply being with my wife and children.”
