Melanie Roberts

As a transfer student and graduate from Southern Virginia University with a degree in art and a concentration in museum studies, I know firsthand how phenomenal the Art + Design Program is here. Virginia proved to be the perfect place to finish my degree—I was surrounded by museums, galleries, and constant inspiration. I recently had the opportunity to join one of the art professors in Italy where I helped set up multiple art installations in both Sicily and Assisi. When I am not creating in my home studio or talking with prospective Art + Design students, I am spending time with my husband, two kids, and golden retriever.
