Katelyn Leinbach

I found community, purpose and loads of fun while pursuing a degree at Southern Virginia University. I loved attending devotionals, exploring passions in music and art and participating in the country swing club. I graduated with a degree in Design and a Graphic Design concentration. With family roots in Virginia and North Carolina, I carry a love for the Appalachian Mountains whose natural peace and winding roads, just five minutes from campus, became a grounding force during my years at SVU.

Prior to my college career, I found fulfillment as a full time missionary serving the community of Laie, Hawaii at the Temple Visitors Center as well as the students of BYU-Hawaii. I have also worked as an Attractions Cast Member for The Walt Disney Company, helping guests make magical memories during their once in a lifetime family vacations.

Throughout my life, I have found joy connecting with others and am thrilled to be a part of the Admissions Team, helping students on their individual paths to recognize their potential and embrace their strengths at Southern Virginia University. Outside of work, I love playing tennis, board games, baking and crafting.
