Videographer/Creative Content Producer
Part-time
Responsibilities
- Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality short-form and long-form video content for social media, digital channels, live events, and traditional media
- Create motion graphics, animations, and visual effects to enhance storytelling
- Manage all aspects of video production from concept through final delivery, including color correction, audio mixing, and maintaining organized media libraries
- Collaborate with the Creative Director and university departments to develop creative concepts aligned with strategic objectives
- Manage multiple video projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and performing well under pressure during time-sensitive filming situations
- Operate and maintain cameras, lighting, audio equipment, and other production gear while staying current with emerging technologies
Minimum Qualifications
- Demonstrated portfolio showcasing excellence in videography, editing, and storytelling across multiple formats
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve, or similar) and motion graphics (Adobe After Effects or similar)
- Experience with professional camera operation, lighting techniques, and audio recording
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with commitment to collaboration and receptiveness to creative feedback
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and take initiative
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in film production, digital media, communications, or related field
- 2-3 years of professional experience in video production, preferably in higher education, nonprofit, or agency settings
- Experience with color grading software (DaVinci Resolve or similar)
- Experience with livestreaming and virtual event production
- Drone operation and experience
- Familiarity with project management tools and digital asset management systems
