Organizational Behavior

Southern Virginia University seeks applications for an Open Rank Professor/Instructor in Management/Organizational Behavior to begin Fall Semester 2026. Primary responsibilities include teaching, undergraduate advising, and university service. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and collegial collaboration in a liberal arts environment.

Responsibilities
  • The position requires mentorship of students, course development, curriculum revision, and continued improvement of the business major.
  • Teaching responsibilities include principles of management/organizational behavior, human resources courses and related upper- and lower-division courses in the Business major.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in the same or related field
  • The ideal candidate will have evidence of effective teaching in small classes.
  • Candidates should have graduate training and teaching experience in the field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A PhD in Management/Organizational Behavior is strongly preferred.
