“I always loved biology and anatomy courses. It has always been interesting to me to learn how the different parts of the body work together to keep us alive and growing. That is a large reason I came to SVU at all, with placement into medical school at over 90% it just made sense to come here. Plus coming here allowed me to continue my wrestling career. I also got married this summer, so receiving scholarships are what makes it possible for me to pursue the things that I love and that keep me a well-rounded person. Scholarships afford me the opportunity to focus more on my studies and less on financing my education.”
