Growing up in Virginia Beach, I was surrounded by the ocean and the vibrant energy of a bustling city. When I left home to attend Southern Virginia University, nestled in a charming town in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, I never imagined how quickly it would feel like home. During my time at SVU, I earned my bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Leadership, met my husband, formed lifelong friendships, and developed a deep love for this beautiful region. Today, I cherish exploring scenic trails with my husband and son and making memories with loved ones across Virginia.

As an alumna, I understand just how special it is to be part of the Knight community. SVU became more than just a university—it was where I grew, built connections, and truly found my place. I’m excited to help students create their own meaningful experiences here and look forward to welcoming you into the Knight family!
