Lindsay Brown

As a native of Arizona, moving across the country to Virginia was quite the shock- in a great way! I transferred to Southern Virginia University in the fall semester of 2023 and have fallen in love with Virginia. Experiencing the change of seasons in the beautiful rolling Blue Ridge Mountains has been a dream. I enjoy being outside and experiencing nature, including hiking and taking far too many pictures (Ask my friends and family how many photos I send them!).

I first heard about Southern Virginia University while serving my mission in Orlando Florida and the Spirit has since guided me to this beautiful school to study Psychology. Although I didn’t know a single soul when I chose to make this big move, I’ve been welcomed with open hearts into this Christ-centered community. As time goes by, I wish I had been here for all four years! I look forward to helping you transition to your new home and am excited for your adventures at Southern Virginia University!
