Biography
When I first came to Southern Virginia University as a student, I had no idea how much this place would change my life. I played on the women’s tennis team, made lifelong friendships, and even met the love of my life here. Beyond that, SVU challenged me, shaped me, and taught me more than I ever could have imagined—not just in the classroom, but in every aspect of my life.
After graduating with my bachelor’s degree in psychology from SVU, I went on to earn my master’s in higher education from Mary Baldwin University. Now, as an admissions counselor, I get to share my love for SVU every day. I’m passionate about helping future Knights discover all the things that make this university so special.
Outside of work, I love playing tennis, taking trips to Busch Gardens, and spending time with my incredible husband. I also have a giant Newfoundland dog named Frank, who absolutely loves taking walks around campus and meeting new friends. If you come to visit, be sure to say hi—Frank and I would love to welcome you to SVU!
