Heather Kemp

From the moment I first visited Southern Virginia University, I recognized it is a special place.  I found myself drawn to the community and the state of Virginia. As my husband and I continued to visit, our connection to the area deepened, leading us to eventually make Virginia our home.

I’ve developed a strong appreciation for the university’s mission and the sense of belonging it fosters among its students. I am eager to assist prospective students in discovering all that SVU has to offer, ensuring they find a supportive and enriching environment that truly feels like a home away from home.
