Dawn Miller

I was born and raised in Georgia, where weekly beach trips were a cherished part of life. I graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Elementary Education, and my passion for helping children led me to work in early intervention. When I’m not working, I love exploring the Blue Ridge Mountains with my extended family or enjoying the peaceful view from my back porch with my husband and our Goldendoodle, Sophie.

As a proud parent of a Southern Virginia University student, I quickly fell in love with the incredible opportunities SVU offers—thanks to its dedicated faculty, staff, and strong academics. Now, as a Student Success Coach and a mom of three adult sons, I bring the same energy and passion I once poured into cheering from the sidelines to supporting our amazing Knights. If you see me on campus, chances are I’m cheering my heart out for SVU students on their own unique journeys!
