The goal of the Commercial Music and Composition concentrations is to prepare students for careers in music, business, and educational settings. I believe music is always communication and that learning is intellectual, visceral, and kinesthetic. My educational approach is to “teach the student, not the subject,” in conjunction with the view that I can only teach students who love to learn.
