Business is the driving force behind much of the prosperity and innovation that directly impacts our lives. Accounting is the language of business and is essential to understanding how businesses work. Drastically changed from 50 years ago, accounting is no longer the clerical task of number crunching. Rather, the modern accountant is a key player in every business, whose sound professional judgment and advice provide the information business management needs to operate competitively.
