If a member of the general public wishes to raise a concern about the university, he or she should submit the complaint in writing to the appropriate university officer or email firstname.lastname@example.org. The university will endeavor to resolve the concern. If the university’s response fails to produce a satisfactory resolution, the matter may then be referred to The State Council of Higher Education for Virginia or to the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. A complaint should be addressed to one of these agencies only in the rare case when all of the university’s channels for resolving the concern have been exhausted.
