Marriott Scholarship

Applicants for the Marriott Scholarship, our largest academic award, are evaluated on their commitment to academics, leadership, and service—qualities exemplified by Richard E. Marriott and the Marriott Family. In addition to receiving an annual scholarship, recipients gain access to the Marriott Scholarship Society in which they can cultivate these values.

Awarded at two tiers, the Marriott Scholarship is added on top of other university aid to increase your total University scholarship package to $7,500 or $10,000 respectively. With limited availability, Marriott Scholarships are awarded only to new or transfer students on a first-come, first-served basis until all funds have been distributed.

The application deadline is March 31.

Eligibility & Renewal

To be eligible for the Marriott Scholarship, students must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • New Students: 3.8 GPA at any previously attended high school and an ACT score of 28 or above and/or an SAT score of 1280
  • Transfer Students: 3.8 GPA at any previously attended college

This scholarship renews annually over four years for recipients who maintain a cumulative 3.6 GPA or above.
