Marriott Scholarship

Applicants for the Marriott Scholarship, our largest merit-based award, are evaluated on their commitment to academics, leadership, and service—qualities exemplified by Richard E. Marriott and the Marriott Family. In addition to receiving an annual scholarship, recipients gain access to the Marriott Scholarship Society in which they can cultivate these values.

Awarded at two tiers, the Marriott Scholarship is added on top of other university aid to increase your total scholarship package to $7,500 or $10,000 respectively. With limited availability, Marriott Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis until all funds have been distributed. The application deadline is May 31.

Eligibility & Renewal

To be eligible for the Marriott Scholarship, incoming new and transfer students must meet the following requirements:

  • New Students: minimum cumulative 3.8 GPA with 28 ACT or 1240 SAT OR minimum cumulative 3.6 GPA with 30 ACT or 1320 SAT
  • Transfer Students: minimum cumulative 3.8 GPA at any previously attended institution(s)

The Marriott Scholarship renews annually over four years for recipients who maintain a minimum cumulative 3.6 GPA.
