Title IX Coordinator

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and revise the University’s Title IX policies and procedures, in conjunction with the chief of staff and legal counsel.
- Provide oversight and coordination of complaint investigations related to Title IX
- Ensure prompt, equitable, and impartial processes for resolving complaints of sex discrimination, harassment, and violence.
- Collaborate with various campus departments to ensure compliance with Title IX
- Conduct training and educational programs for students, faculty, and staff on Title IX rights and responsibilities.
- Maintain records of investigations, complaints, and resolutions.
- Act as a liaison between the University and government compliance offices.
- Develop and disseminate educational materials, including posters, brochures, and web content, that inform the campus community of Title IX rights and responsibilities.
- Advise the university leadership on compliance strategies and actions required to maintain adherence to Title IX.
- Keep up-to-date on changes in federal and state Title IX regulations and adjust University practices accordingly.
- This position is required to work on-campus in order to most effectively coordinate the investigative and compliance work required in Title IX compliance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in higher education: Student Affairs, legal compliance, Human Resources, or other applicable area
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state Title IX regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong investigative and interviewing skills
- Proficiency in developing and conducting training programs
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
This is a part-time position. The hourly requirement for this position is variable based on cases, training, and policy revisions, but is expected to run from 10-25 hours/week. The pay rate starts at $25/hour, but could increase based on experience.
