Registrar Office Assistant

Responsibilities
- Maintains student records in the Jenzabar EX computer program, Excel and in hard copies for files.
- Ensures the confidentiality of student records.
- Provides customer service for parents, students, faculty and other departments of the university by fielding questions, directing calls to the correct person or office, etc.
- Prepares Veterans’ Administration reports.
- Processes Transcript Requests.
- Composes enrollment or degree verification letters and other general correspondence.
- Assists the Registrar in evaluating transcripts for prospective and current students.
- Assists the Registrar in various duties in the operation of the office.
- Performs special duties at graduation time each year.
- Leads and serves the University and the staff by example in supporting the mission, rules, and policies of the University, as well as in their work ethic and overall job performance.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associates of Arts or college coursework.
- Must be able to communicate effectively orally and verbally.
- Demonstrated ability to use and learn new software programs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Arts.
- Experience working in education and/or a fast-paced professional environment.
- At least one year of general office experience.
- Knowledge of Jenzabar EX.
