Adjunct Art Instructor

Part-time

Southern Virginia seeks a part-time instructor of art. A qualified candidate should be skilled in and available to teach two courses, artistic anatomy, and figure drawing for the Fall 2024 semester. Instruction in Figure drawing should focus on foundational skills and drawing techniques, proportion, line, light and shadow, composition, and expression. Instruction in Artistic Anatomy should explore the physiology of the human body, focusing on basic skeletal and musculature forms and how they impact the human form.
