At Southern Virginia University students come first. And the Office of Institutional Advancement is committed to supporting Southern Virginia University’s primary mission, to “provide the finest undergraduate education available in letters, arts and sciences within a wholesome LDS environment.”

Our goal is to financially strengthen the university through solicitation of private and public donations. These donations are used to create a revenue stream to provide scholarships, endowments, faculty support, construction and maintenance of physical facilities and other capital improvements.

We seek to develop and foster lasting relationships between the university and its constituents by creating opportunities for all alumni, students, families, faculty, staff, corporations, foundations, and friends to financially support the University, as we constantly strive to enhance the outstanding quality of our faculty, students, programs and facilities.
