Paying for college can be difficult and expensive—Southern Virginia’s office of Student Financial Services is available to make the experience as simple and affordable as possible.
More Than $5 Million in Aid
Each year Southern Virginia University awards more than $5 million in merit, need-based, talent and returned missionary aid, significantly reducing the cost of a Southern Virginia education. In 2011-2012, 98-percent of our students received financial aid.

Students received an average of
$7,160
in institutional aid alone during 2010-2011 to help lower the cost of tuition.

Making Payments
The Knight's Choice Installment Plan is an interest-free tuition payment plan that distributes the cost of tuition into monthly installments throughout the year.
