Southern Virginia University seeks applications for an adjunct faculty member to teach one 300-level philosophy course in Spring Semester 2018 (Jan. 11 to May 4). Teaching experience and a Ph.D. in philosophy are preferred; teaching experience and an M.A. in philosophy will be considered. Desirable course topics include modern philosophy, Kant, and applied ethics, but not ancient philosophy, political philosophy, philosophy of mind, metaphysics, epistemology, or philosophy of language as these courses have been taught recently or will soon be.
