Bryce Pendleton is the User Experience (UX) Designer, Instructor of 2D and 3D Design, and Art + Design Recruitment Specialist at Southern Virginia University.
Prior to his current role, Pendleton worked as an architectural designer at Kirchner & Associates Architects in Lexington, Virginia.
He graduated as valedictorian from Southern Virginia University, where he was also a Knight Scholar and worked as the web content manager. He was a member of the men’s basketball team and was named an ESPN First-Team District Academic All-American in 2010.
After completing his undergraduate degree, Pendleton entered the Master of Architecture program at Virginia Tech, where he received the Bill Brown Award, worked as a graduate teaching assistant and participated in a semester-long residency program in Riva San Vitale, Switzerland. He is currently completing a master’s thesis on Mormon temples and the doctrine of formation.
Pendleton served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Las Vegas, Nevada. He and his wife, Neely, live in Buena Vista, Virginia with their dog, Tia.
