Rachel Wilcox joined the Southern Virginia faculty this year with a Juris Doctor degree from Stanford Law School. While at Stanford she also worked as Research Assistant with Dr. Ticien Sassasoubre and Prof. Norman Spaulding.
Prior to Stanford, she was a researcher and case writer at the Harvard Business School. She majored in philosophy, literature and film at Brigham Young University, graduating as valedictorian of her class in 2006. Following her undergraduate work, she lived in West Africa producing a documentary on malaria research. While there, she used her camera and script-writing abilities to co-found a humanitarian project.
During her final year of law school, Rachel published her first novel, “The Eleventh Brother: A Novel of Joseph in Egypt”. In the Spring she will be teaching courses in Contemporary Issues and the Origin and birth of the Constitution.Contact Information:
