Logan Davis is the head wrestling coach at Southern Virginia University.
During his first season as head cross country coach in fall 2011, Davis led the men’s team to a sixth-place finish at nationals, while guiding the women’s team to its first national championship since 2007.
After graduating from Southern Virginia in 2009 with a B.A. in liberal arts, Davis served as an assistant coach for both men’s and women’s cross country from 2009-10. During that time, Davis also assisted with the wrestling team.
As a student at Southern Virginia, Davis was a two-time USCAA academic all-american in both cross country and wrestling. Davis was also a three-time qualifier for the NCWA national tournament in the 133-lb. weight class.
He served a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints the Kenya Nairobi Mission. Davis resides in Buena Vista with his wife, Emilie, and three children.
