Cameron T. Crowther is the Executive Director of Career Development and an Advancement Officer at Southern Virginia University.
Cameron graduated with a Juris Doctorate from Washington and Lee University where he was named the H. Crim Peck Memorial Scholar and served as the Submissions Editor of the German Law Journal. He was elected president of the W&L J. Reuben Clark, and Humanitarian Law Society societies. During part of his legal studies Cameron lived and worked in Nepal, contributing to prosecution of human rights violations in that country. Cameron’s legal scholarship was centered on transnational dispute resolution and treaty based law.
In addition to his work at Southern Virginia University, Cameron founded a local real estate development group, BV Town Center Projects LLC.
As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Cameron served a two-year mission in Costa Rica. Where he learned to read, and speak Spanish fluently.
He and his wife, Marissa, are the parents of two children.
