On Friday, April 2, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., the Southern Virginia University Alumni Association will officially charter its first chapter during a meeting at the Metropolis Integrated Media building in Salt Lake City, Utah.

On March 12, Southern Virginia University senior Peter Rose, from Heber City, Utah, wrestled his last college match to win his third consecutive National Collegiate Wrestling Association national championship and finished the season with a record of 27 to 1.

She will honor the 200th anniversary of the birth of composer Robert Schumann by performing music of Schumann and his wife Clara, as well as selections by Beethoven and Brahms.

On Thursday, March 4, director Mark Taylor will lead the Southern Virginia University Orchestra in music so powerful that he calls the program “Images of Life and Death.” The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Chandler Hall on the Southern Virginia University campus.
