The Southern Virginia Student Association serves as an official method of representing student interests and providing an environment for student expression. Those who serve as members of the Student Association take on an active role of representing other students and playing a part in the university’s decision making process.
The Executive Council presides over the Student Association and consists of members elected by the student body as a whole. They work closely with university administration and the Student Senate to ensure that decisions are carried out effectively.
