Mail Center

The Southern Virginia University Mail Center is located in the Kimball Student Center in the middle of campus. All packages and mail for the university are delivered to this location.

Students living in Residence Halls (Lofts, Robey, Craton, Main Hall, Library Modulars) should visit the Mail Center to register for a mailbox. Students living in town houses, Carriage modulars, or houses should have their mail sent to the local address of their residence.

Students that move and no longer require the use of a mailbox should contact the Mail Center directly to update their address and close their mailbox if they no longer require one.

Mail pieces missing a student mailbox may be delayed or returned to sender. If you need a student’s mailbox number, please contact the Mail Center at mailcenter@svu.edu, or call 540-261-8485.

Students will be emailed via their Southern Virginia email account when a package arrives for them. All packages can be picked up from the Mail Center during office hours.

The Mail Center is open Monday-Friday. Daily operating hours are posted on the door.
