The Marriott Scholarship is awarded to incoming freshmen and transfer students who demonstrate academic achievement, extracurricular accomplishment, leadership ability, and commitment to service—qualities exemplified by Richard E. Marriott and the Marriott Family in whose honor the scholarship is named. The Marriott Scholarship is added on top of other University aid to bring your total institutional scholarship package up to $10,000.
To be eligible for the Marriott Scholarship, incoming freshmen must have a high school GPA at or above 3.8 and SAT score at or above 1240 or ACT score at or above 28 OR a high school GPA at or above 3.6 and an SAT score at or above 1320 or ACT score at or above 30. Transfer students must have a college GPA at or above 3.8. The Marriott Scholarship renews annually for recipients who maintain a cumulative GPA above 3.0. Only incoming students are eligible to apply.
